Overview

HoverFlow is a macOS app by BeamDots Ltd that helps you share the right window during calls and presentations. We respect your privacy and designed HoverFlow so screen content stays on your device.

Data collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data. HoverFlow includes no analytics SDKs, advertising, or third-party tracking.

On-device processing

All screen mirroring and window handling occur locally on your Mac. Captured visuals are used only to mirror the windows you select and are not sent to BeamDots Ltd or any third party.

Permissions

• Screen Recording using Apple's ScreenCaptureKit is required for HoverFlow to mirror windows.
• You can manage this permission any time in System Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Screen Recording.

Network usage

HoverFlow may make limited outbound requests, for example to check for updates or validate a license if enabled in future versions. No personal data is transmitted with these requests.

Crash reports and diagnostics

HoverFlow does not include in-app analytics. If you opt in to Apple's system crash reporting, Apple may share anonymized diagnostics with developers. We do not use these diagnostics to identify you.

Children's privacy

HoverFlow is rated 4+ and does not target children. Because we do not collect data, no personal information about children is collected.

Your choices

• Revoke Screen Recording permission at any time in System Settings.
• Uninstall HoverFlow to remove app files and settings stored on your device.
• Email us at info@hoverflow.app with privacy questions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as features evolve. When updated, we will change the effective date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
